FYI.. Canadian Readers: I was just at my Costco in Halifax, NS and they had a listing for 2008 Rogue 16" and 17" steel rims for $40.00 and $56.00. I am a recent Rogue purchaser (May) and I plan to pickup some 16" rims for my SL AWD when winter draws near :-( !

Any body running on 215/65/16's. They are a bit small, but this is all I can find now. My issue is that since the 17" are already .8% off of the (I have an SL) do I go by the 17" as base, or by the 16" size as base. Using the 16" the above size would be over 3% out, if using the 17" it would only be 2.23% out. Obviously Nissan doesn't re calibrate the speedo for the 17's as I am 1-2 KM off at 100km/h.

If you are using the base size and are 3 km off (at 100) you should get that looked at. You should be dead on with those tires. Are you usually riding on the 17". The 65's are about a half inch shorter then your (base model) tires. Its not a lot, but I'm very picky and it irritates me when I know I don't have the best item for the job.
