| cvt problem '08 rogue. 2wd. last march/2011 cvt went out @ 70k. dealer gave us loaner & got car back in 3days(w/new cvt & warranty). has been ok until a week or so ago. vdc lite comes on w/slip indicator lite @ same time. than the tranny starts going crazy w/hi revs & appears to be slipping. can anybody help?? since doesn't do it all the time you know what dealer will say. sooooooooooooo please help. lf      |

| get this!!!! yesterday went to tp nissan, houston. took tech for ride & it did it!!! he thought like me, bad tranny. went home in free loaner. dealer calls like in 1-2hrs "come & get it"!!! HAD "BAD STOP LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT"!!! did some other brake switch work & cleared pc code & test drove. also did a mpi inspection. no charge for anything. lf ps you know this cvt could be ok. toyota & lexus has it in every hybrid. everybody @ 2 dealers & rental cars claims very few problems. w/10yrs & 125k miles whats to sweat. good luck. |
