| Help with DIY CVT fluid change The factory service manual instructs to "delete CVT fluid deterioration date with CONSULT-III after changing CVT fluid." Is necessary? Who has changed their own CVT fluid? Did you delete the CVT fluid deterioration date? Thanks!      |

| unless you own a consult-3  i wouldn't suggest taking this job on. im an avid back-yard Sunday tool-whore, thats built my race-bike, and other various things in my life- but i wouldn't suggest taking this job on for one main reason even IF you did have the consult3- WARRANTY. the way the dogs at nissan have been handling many tranny problems and warranty claims, i would not want to give them another reason to not perform a tranny swap if need be. |
