I think I must have hit a curb and not noticed it - my transmission pan was leaking transmission fluid - I had no idea. The car would not turn on - slight turn over, then die. There is a big dent in the transmisison pan and it was leaking fluid.

Any idea what this could cost? Could I have damaged my transmission?? How would I know??

Sounds pretty serious. I definitely wouldn't drive it. Better have it trucked to the dealer. Couldn't possibly come up with an estimate......too many unknowns.
