Driving the Rogue is very much like driving a manual transmission thats perpetually a gear or two too high...like leaving it in 3rd and pulling from 5 mph in 3rd gear. | i have the exact same predicament. just bought an 08 SL awd with 23k and noticed the same crap. if you drive economically, and gently- it will make moaning & groaning noises & vibrates/shakes like its in bed with a dominatrix. and its mostly because as soon as you take off, it just sits in the 1500rpm range and wont budge unless you really punch it.
drive it like you stole it- and its actually very responsive, quiet, and almost enjoys being driven spirited. I CANT UNDERSTAND IT! |
