Large opening on the front of the Rogue

I am cocerned about the large 4 3/4" X 32" unprotected on the front bumper of the Rogue, leaving the radiator and Air Cod components exposed to road hazard, should I be concerned about that? and should I add some sort of mesh in that space?

your car was designed by mechanical engineers, not monkeys lol. leave it open. if you restrict air flow even by mesh it will reduce the radiator's cooling ability and significantly increase the engine coolant temps and eventually begin to degrade your oil faster and cause increased operating temps which will decrease the spark-plugs life- if not over-heating the engine mid summer.

adding mesh to the eye looks like it still will allow air-flow, but what will happen is air hitting the metal portion will bend to enter the holes. that bend will be built upon by new air coming in, and eventually will build outward (we are talking about seconds of time) to the point were you will build an air-pocket and most of the wind will go around it.

the only time i would suggest blocking off the rad/condenser is in the winter(in a diesel vehicle). diesel engines require heat to work(no spark-plugs)
