Mistergib Super Moderator Registered: January 2008 Location: Aurora, CO Posts: 250	First, I painted the background area behind the lower grill in semi-gloss black enamel.....then added the chrome upper grille enhancement, added a chrome moulding to the horizontal bar of the lower grille, added black door edge moulding pieces on to the 8 vertical braces for the lower grille horizontal bar..... This gives the effect of a "floating" chrome bar in the lower grille.

Nice job. I have a 2009 SL AWD, and I have a concern with the large opening in the bottom grill where road debris could possibly damage the cooling system, what is your opinion on this. Thanks Stephenpl
