Does anyone know when the 09 Rogues will come out and what new features, if any, it will have? I wanted to get the 2008 rogue but maybe thought I should wait for the 2009's to come out. What does everyone think?

Why wait? Historically the second year of a vehicle model sees little changes and I've not heard of anyone with any major problem with their Rogue.

I would like to see Nissan ad a few items to the second year. I want to see chrome door handles, larger wheel options, rear seat heating and cooling vents with controls.

There was one on the dealers lot last week. It had dealer plates on it but no price tags.

Read on another site that 2009 Rogues are to be out Aug 12.

I just started looking at the Rogues, and my thought was to wait until the 09's came out, because while at the dealership I saw some ads for the 09 Murano, and we're starting to get within a few months of the time of year when next years models will start coming out (I think a few already have). My thought process behind waiting is not so that I can get an 09 Rogue, but so that I can hopefully pick up an 08 Rogue at a discounted price... and then if they happen to sell out quickly, hey, an 09 for essentially the same as I'd be paying now.... still would seem better off, since I don't desperately need a car yet. Hopefully the August 12 date is right...I can definitely wait that long.

I just saw a new rouge commercial that offered a navigation system but I guess now they are not coming out until September?

My first thought was to do exactly the same thing and wait untill the 09' Models came, but then i found out the MSRP will be going up, which means Dealer Invoice is too.

I get 4.3% off Dealer Invoice through my employer, and the new MSRP will be 20,220. That is a nearly $800 raise for VERY minor upgrades. I have always told myself i will not buy a first year model of anything, but i think i may go ahead and break that. Heck i can add 800 bucks worth of features and have a nicer 08 for the extra cash.

I was at the dealer in myrtle beach the end of last week and they didnt have any on the lot, but i did get the book on one, and the only difference i can see is the front passenger seat folding forward flat is now standard and not an option... and if you want chrome door handles, etc... you may have to go with murano, which i wasnt fond of at all, felt like it was made cheaply to me..... and less MPG... i love my Rogue and wont be trading anytime soon!!!
