Long time Nissan owner - first Rogue

Been buying Nissans for longer than I can remember. Just traded a 2005 Murano AWD for a 2012 Rogue SV AWD. Wife drives a 2011 Murano SL AWD. Absolutely love the Nissan CVT. Nephew just got a 2012 Juke - it is so ugly it is cute! Was worried about the 4-cylinder engine in the Rogue but have been impressed with its performance. Hope to get better gas mileage than my 2005 Murano.

Welcome aboard. As far as gas mileage goes, the Rogue should be better on gas over the Murano. But if you really get on the Rogue accelaration the engine will suck up gas like the Murano. But the engine performance is great. Happy Holidays.

New Rogue

I myself just bought a new 2012 SL loaded. So far, I love the 4 cylinder. It does have alot of power especially around the Pittsburgh area which has alot of hills.

Good luck with you Rogue. The engine has enough power for most situations.
