 New Rogue SL AWD - first car ever from far east for me.
7-14-9 Just purchased a Blue SL AWD and like I said first far east car ever - hope - this is political correct. Anyway the are a few things to get use too - the wiper positions and lights - but haven't had a new car in 14 years - so I guess a few things have changed. Anyway a couple of notes - the CVT is different and I think Nissan won't attmit it but that rpm range at the 30 to 35 mph needs some refinement. I guess that is why there are number 3 in Japan - huh, but I am learning to drive around it by feathering the gas. Also why no lock on the glove box and arm rest? Is this now a new thing? One more thing is there a glove box light in that big hole? Just haven't driven at night yet.
I don't mean to be critical, I wouldn't have bought the car if all the other things didn't out way some of the oddities. And unless I built it myself I probably couldn't satisfiy myself anyway. Normally it has good power, the fit and finish are excelant, and it looks good also. Matter of fact I still take a rag to it when I get off work just to knock the dirt off. Hope to enjoy it for a long time..:  |
