If anyone could please advise me with the fuel effeciancy of Nissan Rogue will be great.

We're still waiting on that but with the small engine and CVT it should be pretty respectable, it better be if it's going to compete with the other Crossovers already on the market.

...so far with less than 300 miles on it, and at 5280ft above sea level, I've been getting
right at 20 mpg in the city.....haven't been on the highway to test it as yet....

I've had SL AWD Rogue for a week with 600 highway miles and getting disappointing 21 mpg keeping it between 60-70mph.

I reset the MPG gauge and new getting 26-27 mpg of roughly 90% highway driving. Much happier now!! Now I really Love this SUV!!

I read an article about Nissan Rogue's CVT "Xtronic" which is reported to consume 30% less internal friction which improves fuel economy and put it on top of fuel efficiency list for both fron and all wheel drive CUV.

My first post and my first new car ever. My wife has had a couple of new ones before i met her, but this is my first - took me until i turned 50 to spend $29K on a vehicle. She is a 2011 Rogue SL AWD in beautiful black amethyst with grey leather.
Fuel economy is not good yet as others have said but I only have 700 miles on her so far. It is less than 20mpg in town use right now, and we are looking for that to improve, and it had better !
Still, my Tundra gets 13-17, so i cannot complain too much !

I get low to mod 20's and I have a short drive. I get about 27 hwy driving. I now have had mine for 1 yr and have over 11k on it.

Now with 1200 miles on it, a 230 mile freeway drive netted 26.4mpg. @ 65-70mph. Thats probably right in the ballpark of expectation, don't you think ?
The window sticker was 22-26, so i'm probably maxed out.

Still don't know what I think about that CVT !

I've only had my 2011 Rogue for a few weeks, but mostly highway miles driving 69-72 MPH and getting an average of 27.3 so far (just got over the 1000 mile initial break in point). This is an average over three tanks. Can't complain about the mileage or the handling.
