When the lights not on in it's auto mode.

Yes, that's logical and what I assumed. I really didn't think the system was defective. But the dealer didn't seem to know that, or was not bright enough to think of it, and didn't want to bother confirming that any other Rogue on their lot exhibited the same behavior.

And if the car doesn't function the way the prayerbook says, Nissan should update all dealers so they can deal with such queries.

Went to another dealer and verified that another new Rogue behaves the same way mine does, so I am convinced the manual is wrong. I am annoyed that the first dealer was unwilling to check another car with me.

I am also PO'd at the dealer for other mistakes and I let Nissan know via the survey.
