Heated Seats and Leather Install anyone? Hey guys. Just brought home a 2012 Rogue SV (Black on black) for my wife. She didn't want a big monthly payment so she shunned my attempts to bring her home the SV W/SL. Of course now, she wishes she had the leather and the heated seats. I was wondering if there was anyone who attempted this mod and if they could give me some ideas for good quality leather surface vendors and maybe an idea of how the heated seats mod would go. I'm a fairly handy guy so I would do it myself. Thanks all.

The outside mirrors are supposed to be heated? Was that included in 2008's as well or was that a first year innovation that they opted to not include? Mine don't have the defrost symbol on the glass and they don't clear or melt when I run the rear window defrost.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I was just wondering if there was a reasonably affordable option for adding leather. $2000 is a bit rich for my blood. The Katzskin looks good (good leather and under $1k for the DIYer). I was mainley wondering if anyone has had a good experience with Clazzio.

you will spend 1,000 and in a year or two, end up tossing the covers out. seat cover's unless OEM, i would NEVER trust. it might look great once installed, and in photo's, but show me after a year or two of service. stretching the stitching, and leather when your sitting in it- ends up causing bagging in the center area's & how thick the leather is also very important or you will see the tears happen quickly from the copper rivets from jeans.

Totally respect your opinion, Imstricken. Just sayin, I can't find a single bad thing said about those Clazzio covers. Also found a lot of install pictures that look really good even a couple of years out. I would tend to agree with your take on these but they sure do look pretty damn good.
