For your info mine was ordered with one. Yes, the dash pad is made special just for the built-in electrical mount as stated in my earlier posts and it is option code U94. Invoice price = $440, Retail price = $540. So mine was $440.
BTW, currently the same unit can be purchased at Amazon for $400 .

Option code U94 is an option for both the '08 and '09 models, as a (PIO) Port Installed Option. Yes the dealer can install it for you, but I do not know it they 1. Just cut a hole in the dash pad for this mount or 2. Replace you existing dash pad with the special dash pad which already has the hole cut out of the dash for this mount ????
It come with the electrical mount plus the standard windshield mount. This windshield mount is what comes with the standard unit if purchased from places like Amazon.

Another interesting question is this electrical mount, does this mean that their is a special dash wiring for this electrical mount inside and underneath the dash pad or it is as easy as a electrical connection plug already made into the dash wiring and everybody has this electrical wiring in every Rogue and all the dealer has to do is connect the electrical connections of the electrical mount to this electrical connection plug at the wiring harness?
Your guess is as good as mine.

Hmm, I'm definitely interested in seeing if we can get the mount and wiring separately since the Nuvi 750 costs quite a bit less from other sources. I guess worst case there are other mounts out there as well as hardwiring cables.
