| I have my doubts about this chip. It is not very expensive, but I have seen so many claims in the past for better performance and gas mileage. I think that if it was so easy then Nissan would do it. One mile or two per gallon in gas savings would be a strong selling point for them with gas prices the way they are now. |

| all that "chip" is, is a resistor that simulates a different air intake temperature. So its more of a want to be chip. Unless it hooks to the computer some how or to the computer port its not a real chip for these cars.

| "The GF module installs into your NISSAN ROGUE's engine bay and is connected via 2 wires that plug into the IAT sensor. Diagrams are included. The unit is then able to reprogram the ECU thus improving your car's performance." aka... it tricks your ecu to run a richer map. that dumps more fuel in your cylinders thus causing slight increase in power & worse fuel economy. i have a powercommnder on my race bike and it essentially does the same idea (except the powercommander is a proven system but it almost ends up using twice as much fuel) |
