Change Temperature display

Dear friends

I am from Brazil and I imported a new Rogue to my country. As we use temperature in Celsius degree, I´d like to know if someone can help me how I can change the display from ºF to ºC in the gauge panel.
Thanks

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. That is courageous of you to import a foreign car.
You should have taken it from Canada, everything will be already metric in it ;-p

I checked the owner manual and the FSM, and did not find anything about it (except that you can display one or the other). No explanation on how to switch from one to the other.
And since I don't have the premium package on my car, I cannot play with it to find out, sorry.

Can you contact a local Nissan dealer to help you on that? Or Nissan Brazil maybe?

How will you do with the odometer? Not easy to see the kph in the inside circle. Did you plan to change to a metric dashboard?

Thanks for your response. I had seen in my owner manual just you have seen, no explanation how to switch the temperature display. Maybe it´s not possible but I will ask for Nissan contact. We don´t have Rogue sold in Brazil. Only other models like, Xtrail, Sentra, Pathfinder, etc. I´ve been in USA last February and I drove and loved this car and we have good advantage in importing cars at this moment to Brazil. About your question, in my gauge, I see only miles and all the computer features are expressed in US system. If I couldn´t switch to metric system I will be used to see in miles. How much does it cost a new Rogue with premium package, awd, and moonroof in Canada?
Thanks,Nelson

It will be difficult to compare since Nissan decided no to put the same stuff in the US car compared to the Canadian one (to avoid the comparison and be able to charge more for one compared to the other).

But I will try: For a SL AWD with premium package (moonroof is included in the premium package as contrary as the US model I think), you can find it before discussion at 32.900 CAD$ (about 32.000 US$). You have to add 1.400$ for freight and PDE, but since it is an export, you don't care about the taxes.

On this model, you have the heated seats (not sure you need that ), floor mats and wheel locks, but you don't have the xenon lights as headlights.
I am quite sure you have several others small differences, but cannot tell for sure as I don't own a SL AWD canadian model and don't know the us one.

If you want further details, the best way is to go on the canadian website, nissan.ca, and the us one, nissanusa.com, and play with them.

Maybe the best option for brazilians is to look for the mexican models: they should be in metric and more oriented hot climate.

Anyway, enjoy your Rogue, from whereever it comes .

You make me laugh everytime.

I checked on another forum and there way too many things to change in the car to get it in metric.
The canadians who bought their cars in the US and save about 8000$ with it have to live with it too (but for a third off, why not).

Definitively, if some of your friends look for a Rogue too and they want it in metric, they should have a look at a mexican model, that will be more appropriate I think (and may be even cheaper, I believe).

Oh my God, They killed me!
