im kidding! lol - but in all reality, i also test drove (i think we all did) the murano before buying the rogue, but what changed my mind is:
1. larger, much more expensive tires to replace
2. more fuel consumption
3. more expensive insurance
4. price was more up-front

ImStricken, dude that's harsh! I was thinking more like

Didn't test drive the Murano, or anything else. Just decided to get the Rogue. My test drive was more of an afterthought. Mind you, my right arm was in a sling as I was recovering from shoulder surgery, so I didn't go far on the test, nor for a month after I bought it.

what really scared me is the 20" tires on the murano.

discount tire has the cheapest tire for the Murano at $289.77(Michelin Latitude Tour HP)
discount tires has the cheapest tire for the Rogue at $117.00 (Yokohama AVID Touring-S)

I never considered the Murano. Too big for us, too expensive. Rogue has everything I want, except fixed ratios/paddle shifting on the CVT. Miss that. Like it on the Dodge Caliber CVT

i really do love the way the murano looks, and i test drove the murano, and it drove like a truck.

the rogue has everything i need, and then some. very pleased with my purchase.

Yup, ours has the paddles too. Tried using em, but it just didn't do anything fo rme.

The dealer we bought the Rogue from had a Murano on the lot too, I wanted to test drive it but the wife wasn't interested and since its her car I dropped it. It was white anyway and neither of us likes white cars. Also it cost more, had twice the mileage and was 2 years older and not CPO.

did it do anything? is it broken? -or you mean it just didnt impress you?

because i noticed the rogue almost immediately goes into a ratio of what would equate to 6th gear, so it takes hitting "-" a few times to get it back into 3rd or 4th before you feel any difference.
