| Has anyone purchased the rear bumper protector strip?? Hi: We just purchase our 2011 Rogue in the last month. I was just wondering if anyone out there has purchased the rear bumper strip for the top of the bumper?? And if so, is it easy to install? I'd appreciate any responses. Thanks for your help!! ![]() |

| I installed my own, it was very simple and easy but follow the directions carefully and do several dry runs because that tape is so sticky that once it touches the paint it is stuck for good, there's no second chance. But I'd highly recommend doing this yourself, and you purchase these cheaper on ebay for less than the dealer charges but I probably wouldn't risk getting a lower quality adhesive. With the Genuine Nissan part you know it will stick forever. On a side note, I don't understand why this wouldn't be standard factory equipment, and there should be a recess in the bumper so the plastic protector sits flush like most vehicles in this class. This stick on one sits up above and has a bit of an edge, not a big deal but this thing is so essential to protect your investment it should be standard from the factory. |
