Hi, all: I've had my 2011 Rogue SL now for about a month and I'm learning more about this SUV everyday. Last night when I was taking groceries out of the cargo area I noticed it was pretty dark back there. Am I right that there is no light in the cargo area?? Now that's pretty crazy.

Anyway, I'm not trying to nitpick. So far I like this SUV a lot. I was coming from a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The ride is excellent and very smooth, especially on the highway. My gas mileage is not as advertised at all yet but I'm hoping it improves when I put some more miles on it. I'm only getting about 22.6 on the highway right now. I have about 1,200 miles on it so far.

As far as the features go, I love it!! The NAV is excellent as is the Bose radio. The leather seats are very comfortable and I have a bad back. The only other things I would have liked to have seen is a center armrest for the backseat, which my '08 Sentra had. Other than those little quirks, it's a great SUV for a compact and I know I made the right choice.

There is a light in the rear. It is located on the inside of the hatch. Just look up and you will see it! I believe there are three settings on the switch located on the light: off, on, and auto.

I just got mine last bight. I said the same thing, but my wife noticed it on the inside of the hatch. Mine had apparently been switched to "off"

Hey, I am having 2010 Rogue S AWD, and I am sure it does not have the cargo light, can someone make zoom out pic of where the light actually is. Thank you, Thank you...

Open the cargo hatch, you'll find the light on the driver's side. Turn it on (dunno why they're shipped switched off).
