Greetings all! Just bought my Rogue yesterday and instead of that wonderful new car smell, the interior smells like it was drenched in rubbing alcohol.

Could this be some kind of leather conditioner used at the dealership?

We just bought ours also. It has the same smell as yours. My wife drives it and doesn't complain. So It doesn't bother me either. LOL

It took nearly a year for the smell to dissapate. How's yours' doing?

I treated the leather with "baseball glove oil" to it smells like that, which is OK. Better than having the leather crack. It gets down to -25º here.

that smell is actually the in-cabin air filter. it smells like a nasty musty basement. i just replaced mine, and even the new one is the same.
