Hi, to all. Just brought a rogue a week ago. Put gas in twice ave. is 24mpg. Have 576 miles on car, 50- 50 hwy and city, indigo blue,black with red stitching,weathertec custom floor mats , bug deflector, spoiler,tint front windows, body side moldings,paint protector along rocker panels from front to back. Thanks to this form and the info. on and from it. Will be changing oil at about 1000miles to mobil 1, 5w 30. Looking for gas to improve. Thank you all for the good information.

My Rogue has averaged 24.5 mpg over the approx. 6000 miles I have driven it to date. That includes about 2500 highway miles (at 70+ mph). For the highway miles, the car got an average of 26.0 mpg. The onboard computer consistently shows 1 to 1½ mpg better than the calculated figure. I wonder if the 10% ethanol that I can't seem to avoid is what makes the difference.

Could be. There's more power/heat/energy or whatever, in a measurement of crude than a like measurement of corn. And I'm from Iowa(the corn state).

I now have 5500 miles on my awd and averaging between 24 and 25 mpg. It really does depend on how you drive this vehicle. I love to get on it but when I do the mileage suffers. However, on trips I can count on a solid 25 mpg. I've had my rogue up to 115MPH before needing to slow down. At 115mph I noticed a lot of wind noise coming from the roof rack. I was not pushing the Rogue that hard. If I would have had more roadway I'm sure I could have gone over 120mph.

This is my list of mpg. How I calculated was.... 6/23's miles were divided by 6/13's gallons. Where as the "MPG-CAR" was what the Rouge told me was real-time MPG. You can see that the average calculated MPG compared to the Rouge's MPG's are about the same. Pretty good....
I live in North-Western Mass and South-Western New Hampshire. I normally drive 15 miles to work up and down hills and around twisty corners. 10 miles is at 40-60 MPH and the last 5 is 'town' driving with about 4 traffic lights. I occasionally will travel about 25 miles up to NH with some interstate driving at 72 MPH then the rest nice highway at 40-50.

Ah, and I have a brand new 2010 Rouge SL AWD. This is the list from my first fill up!!!

I am getting about 26 - 27 mpg on my 2008 Rogue. I have a little over 40,000 mainly highway miles. I ususally drive around 70 mph. In Ohio our speed limit is only 65 and the State Highway Patrol is shall we say diligent in their enforcement.

I'm averaging 24.4 in day to day, msotly rush hour traffice. My rush hour traffic is part stop and go and a little steady 50 mph. It has been holding this average since I bought the car 4 months ago.
