| When someone sits in the passenger seat of my new Rogue a message light comes on about the passenger air bag. It is hard to tell from the indicator and the manual if that indicates the airbag is off or on - it should be on. What is it telling me????? |

| Sounds like something's amiss. I'm not a mechanic, but it sounds like the system might need to be reset. Even if your local dealer says it's fine, there's no harm checking with another mechanic. Is there a reliable repair shop you could take it to? You could also try posting to NissanHelp.com The site is frequented by trained Nissan mechanics (they have their own forum there). | Nissan Answer I received a reply from a Nissan mechanic. He said that the light should come on when you start the car no matter if someone is sitting there or not. If the person sitting there gets up the light should go on for a couple of seconds. So I guess it is working as designed, but sounds awfully weird to me. |
