Who uses their paddle shifters ? Tonite for a lark as I was driving on mostly deserted streets I decided to exclusively use the paddle shifters on my 10 mile drive to the store. Noticing that our Rogue red-lines at 6500 RPM's I made every shift at 4500. Wow what a difference in performance. I own two sports cars and my conclusion after that drive is the Rogue is no slouch when actively driven this way. I wondered how many others have done this or drive in this manner on a regular basis ? ?

Paddle shifters I find it a fun way to drive also. Wouldn't be fun to have the Rogue available in a standard transmission. BTW as I understand in from reading on the other forum that the 2010 model didn't offer the paddle shifters? If that is true Nissan is missing the boat.

Its true, apparently the 2010's are out. I went to the Nissan web site and built one. Sure enough paddle shifters are not included in the 2010 Rogue. So it seems we have a " collectors item " well at least we have a felixible vehicle that performs well, is functional and gets great fuel economy. I am very happy with my 2009 Rogue.

No slouch, indeed. It's particularly noticeable straight off the line, as at a stoplight. I thought the paddle shifters would be nice to have when we have heavy snows here in Iowa. Surprisingly, that CVT is amazing in heavy snow. No paddles necessary. Still, they're fun to play with.

The Paddle shifter and consol shifter is awsome. It took me awhile to start using the paddle shifter but I'm very impressed with the performance when doing so. It maxes the 170HP to the limit. Love getting that much performance out of a 4cyl. The best thing about the shifter is that when you want to be naugty it's right at your fingertips! When you want to be good and green, the Rogue delivers too. Can't wait to see what's new for 2011....

Paddle Shifters I love to drive my 2008 Rogue each time I get into it. You know why, it's the paddle shifters. Why Nissan decided to discontinue this feature on the Rogue is a mistery to me. Unless they bring the shifters back in 2012, I'll be looking to trade for something different. At least bring it back as an option!
