| Not Overly Impressed Just test drove the new Rogue, first one delivered in Austin. It was a gray color (not sure of their fancy color names) SL version with the performance package. It looked great the interior was awesome, until you actually got in it. I've been test driving all the crossovers. Rav4, CRV, sportage Santa Fe, Murano, CX7, Equinox, escape, basically looking to find my next vehicle. The Rogue was by far the most cramped vehicle i test drove. Honestly I thought the sentra felt like it had more room\space. I currently drive a 98 grand am, and I know it has more space everywhere but the trunk of course. But even the Rogue's cargo space felt significantly smaller than the other SUV's. I'm probably going to go buy the CX-7 or the Equinox. I love the Cx-7 but don't like the premium gas requirement. So not sure which of the cars I'm going to end up with. Hope you guys aren't as disappointed as I was. I was fully prepared to drive off in the Rogue today. |

| I know I was waiting eagerly too. I got the call today at 3pm that they had it in and went straight to the dealer to drive it. I think sometimes its you can build something up more then it actually is. Had i not been waiting and expecting more i might have liked the rogue better. Such is life. |

| My original plan was to check out the Rogue, CR-V, Toureg, and RAV-4 (no Volvo or Mazda dealers locally). I sat in the CR-V and had to laugh. I've not seen so much outright plastic ever! It felt like everything I touched would break. I honestly like the Infiniti styling better than the Nissan styling but for the price, you cannot beat the Nissan Rogue. As for gas, I'm going from premium gas to regular, from $1,200 tires to $400 tires, and from $80 oil changes to $30 oil changes. For my Audi TT, I got 23.3 mpg in city driving and 28 mpg on the highway. If the Rogue can be comparable, I'll be saving myself from buying gas at $3.79/gallon. That'll make a huge difference! TL
