My family and I were in a severe accident on Christmas Day. Fortunately, we all walked away while the Rogue is totaled. I have been a fan of Nissan for many years, now I will be a fan for the rest of my life. We hit a Ford F150, basically head on, going 55 mph. He turned in front of us right when I was approaching. (He admitted fault to the police and was charged.) By the time my foot hit the brake, we crashed. We went up an embankment, came to a brief stop, then rolled over. My niece and my husband were in the back seat and she was able to get out almost immediately. My husband was assisted out by someone who stopped to help. I was driving and my Dad was in the front passenger seat. We were trapped. The EMT's got me out next through the driver window, then my Dad had to be cut out. Dad suffered 3 broken ribs and because of other issues had to be hospitalized and was just transferred to a rehabilitation facility today. My husband's right arm is broken in 4 places and he will have surgery to repair it this week. My niece and I are recovering from seat belt injuries. Plenty of bruising but nothing broken. Wearing seatbelts and owning a Nissan saved our lives. What amazes me is that the passenger compartment remained intact and our legs didn't get mangled from the impact of the crash. The only decision I need to make is the color.

| Wow! The Queen and I have been looking at the Rogue, EX35 and Toyota Venza to replace her high milage Nissan Titan and I think you just made up my mind. I'm sure glad everyone is okay and bless all of you for wearing your seat belts.

Holy Cow! I am glad that all of your family members are alright. I, too, have always been a Nissan owner and have never doubted the safety of their cars. My first Nissan was a 1987 Stanza and it saved my life when I was in the middle of a 5 car pile up on a Virginia highway. It is nice to know my 2008 Rogue is just as safe.

MTNGAL; Glad everyone lived, you never know how much luck you have until it starts to run out. Aside from the shiny paint, the smell of leather and the Salesdogs banter, what you are really putting your money on is Survivability, with a capital S. The Crush points all crushed, as per design, the seat belts and the air bags worked, sorry for your experience, but glad to know my Family is as protected as yours by good design and materials. WW

Glad everyone is alright. I wrecked mine last friday, but no where near something like this!! But These Rogues make me feel safe after not getting hurt with a side impact at 50-55. The side curtain airbag saved my son some serious injury and myself too (i dont think my head went into the air bag as much as his did) these are def. safe vehicles and will have another one if something (else!) bad happens to this one, which I hope not since they dont make my color anymore!!
