I called my dealer this morning and nothing has been issued for Canadian vehicles. But they were aware of the U.S. recall last week.

hey guys I went to my dealer for service and i showed him the article and he stated that it's not all rogues, but he needed to check the vehicle ID (serial number in window) and it will show them if your car is on the recall list.

I'd suggest changing the title to include Recall for search purposes and whatnot. I almost posted the same thing but decided to read this thread first.

Well guys , I got news from the dealer and my Rogue is not affected, However I voiced out on the door scratches on the body when the door is physically open (im sure you guys know what i mean) A representative from Nissan Canada was there so i showed him , He took more pictures and told me that there something that needs to be done...
He said that they would probably smooth the surface....paint it ...then seal it with a clear strip so this stops. He stated that if not treated it will rust.
So guys/Gals put pressure on your dealership and tell them to take pictures and send it to Nissan.
anyways ill let you all know what happens.

Don't worry too much about that, you "need" to get into an serious accident to have a trouble (if your car is affected).
You still have your seatbelt to protect you and a lot of people survived without any airbags in the past, and from what we have seen from unfortunate members, the Rogue is pretty strong and will protect well (it is not a smart or a yaris).

In the declaration, it is said that the information will be available before or on Nov 3, but seems we can have the information already in some cases (see Roguer2008 post).
Once again it is a bad media management who want sensationalism without caring about people, this information should not have been out so early, and should come from the dealers.

If your car is concerned, you will receive a letter asking you to call your dealer to schedule an appointment (been there, done that).
