Unhappy Oh Deer!

I had a run in with a deer yesterday, early morning. He ran into the passenger side of my Rogue. Had an estimate after work yesterday, $2k! It could have been much worse though if he had gone through my windshield.
What upsets me the most is that I've been driving for 30 years and this was my first accident. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Good to hear it was only damage to the vehicle and not the car.

$2000? Are you sure it wasn't a moose? Did it have a really big head and kinda ugly?

Hitting it head on will probably total the car.

That is what happened to one of my coworkers few years ago with his brand new VW Golf.
He was not a happy camper!!

Glad to hear that you had only material damages. It is just a car afterall, ... even if it is a ROGUE

Glad you're OK. Hitting a deer is really a big deal. Here in Iowa the things are now considered overgrown rodents. They're everywhere, city and country, and they eat every green plant in site.

It's that time of year again. I had one run into my brand new truck last year (It was only 2 weeks old.) I was so happy I hadn't bought that 350z or I probably wouldn't have lived..............................on second thought it might have just jumped over it.Glad you're okay!

Thanks everyone! The Rogue is in the shop now and parts have been ordered, so hopefully I'll get it back early next week. I've got a rental and it, quite frankly, SUCKS! Apparently it was the last car available yesterday! Oh well, it's only for a few days!
