Question Real fuel tank capacity

It is written in the car manual that the fuel tank capacity is 60l (15.85 gallons I think).

But at my last fuel fill, I put 68 liters (18 gallons)

I have already experienced some 'overfillings' with my previous cars, and because of all the piping and my taste of risk , I already put 3 to 4 liters more than said in the manual.

But never 8l. Did you experience the same thing on your car?

Another thing, I have been told by my carseller that when the last square for the fuel disappears, rush to the nearest gas station as you have less than 10kms of fuel in your car.

Is it the same in your car (last square disappearing means just fumes in the tank)?

No. Regular 87 is just enough for this car.
No need to upgrade.

Ok guys i put 18 gallons in mine the other day... and was about to stop... and pulled the handle "THAT ONE LAST TIME" and the wind gusted at that one moment and sloshed gas down the side of the Rogue up to the rear of the passenger front door!!!! I was MAD!! Of course... i was 1 mile from home... so i drove all the way home ,smelling gas and giving myself a headache... and gave her a good ole' *BATH!!* All better now!!!

...ok y'all....something you should be aware of, it
does happen, not alot, but it does happen.....

If you think that when you fill up with gas that it
ends up taking too much, try this the next time at
that same place that you filled up, or, at the
place that you usually fill up at...

Some places have been caught at rigging their
pumps to show and charge for gas that you didn't
actually get, so.....here's the check:

Next time you get gas, only put in exactly 10
gallons according to the pump reading, then, do
the math...your dollar amout should be exactly
10x the price per gallon.....really, some stations
have been busted for fraud.....so, check it to be
sure of your usual place that you get gas,
especially if it doesn't seem right.
