since its "genuine nissan accessory", it won't be as
bad as you are thinking....if these don't pan out,
I'll buy the Weathertechs if and when they ever
come out.

God knows how long its gonna take for the
WeatherTechs to come out, so take lots of

...fagitaboutit guys.....I should have waited for
the Weathertechs....

I cleaned and prep-ed my side window frames
with alcohol, and mounted the stick-on deflectors
that I bought off ebay, (supposedly a genuine
Nissan accessory in Canada).

They looked good....my wife took the Rogue to
work for about a week before I noticed that they
are coming unstuck from the window frames. The
only thing I can figure is that the shape is not
quite right which therefore would create stress
causing a constant light pull which eventually
causes the deflectors to unstick and pull away?

Anyway, WeatherTech only offers the fronts for
the reasons I stated in earlier posts....but at
least they are in-track and will stay mounted
securely......I just ordered a set, I will do
without the rears, unless WeatherTech figures
the rear mounting out and offers a set.

A lesson well learned....again.

I got the WeatherTech deflectors yesterday and put them on this morning. Piece of cake. The last WT units I installed was on the Azera. Took me over two hours. A real pain! Something about the auto up and down on the Azzie. I pulled and twisted and lubed until I finally got them on. I've had the WeatherTech deflectors on our vehicles since the '95 Explorer. Really quality products. The Rogue looks OK with just the front ones on. I never sit in the back seat and I'm the only 'fresh air freak' in the family so probably won't order them for the rear windows if/when they become available.

Yeah, I hear ya....I've probably had WeatherTechs
as many times as you, maybe even more, I can't
even remember what the first car I used them on,
its been so long ago?....I just got tired of waiting
on them to make'm for our Rogues, big mistake.

My wife and I swapped cars a few months back,
I got her Acura, she got my Rogue....I had already
put the Weathertechs on her Acura, as she parks
her car in the hot sun at her work so needs some
ventilation...thus, the same requirement exists
now for the Rogue. The WeatherTech fronts will
do her just fine....she could care less about the
rears.....I'm the one thats anal in that way.

I just had a run around with Weathertech. It seems they now sell fronts but not rears. They told me that they are having a development issue with the rears. They said it may take 2 more months.

Yes, I'm sure WeatherTech is working on it. Something about the shape of the rear window. WeatherTech won't offer a product that might 'fly off' because of a design problem. Be patient. This is a really quality company.

I contacted WeatherTech yesterday, 3 Feb '09, and it was my impression that they have no plans for producing the rear window deflectors. I ordered the front from Deflectors4less for $70 delivered.
