oops....my bad...

I just was told on the other forum that I visit, that
the usage of caps in one of my postings where all
that I was trying to do was to emphasize part of
what I was posting would actually be taken as
yelling??? Geez...if being on a forum would make
me want to yell, I'd quit the forum first! Life's
too short!

If you read what I emphasized, (the same caps
are in a couple postings above this one), and read
it in the context, you wouldn't take it as yelling
either....if so, then too many people are wearing
their emotions on their sleeve....

...for those out there that are unable to read
contextually and discern the meaning, I wasn't
yelling.....I'm only trying to be an asset to this
forum, not a liability...

We try to not be so anal around here. In most written correspondence something in all Caps is a warning or something of great importance. Our site, our Internet, OUR RULES.

I know it's not a Rogue but it is a Nissan and this is how the door seals are on my Titan and why I'm thinking some things are missing.

There's a bottom seal that that when the door is closed contacts the outside of the body to keep dirt, sand, mud, etc from getting up in the area that you're seeing the scratches.

Then there is the upper seal that doesn't come in contact with the paint

but rather another seal on the inside of the threshhold.

Why would a door on a Titan be enginneered differently then the Rogue? At the very least I would say you're missing the bottom seal because even My 1 ton Dodge has that.

seals...

Our Rogues have the same seals as your Titan
plus one more thats added on top of the seal
that runs along the very bottom of the doors.
That seal that runs along the very bottom of
our doors does NOT make contact with the
door frames....so maybe thats the problem, and
maybe that extra added seal on top of that one is
Nissans attempt at rectifying the problem...if it
is, Nissan missed the boat completely!

What really needs to be done is the replacing/adding
of larger seals that reach the body on the very
bottom edges of our doors.....
