Also Nissan is claiming here in Canada that this Rogue get 31 City and 40 Hwy gas millage. I cant find anyone that is getting better then 30 Hwy.
Is Nissan misrepsentating this vehicle?
Also, now I hear that they are adding extra warranty to the CVT transmission because of problems.
I really like the car I am not sure I am ready for the problems.

Can anyone help???

That's understandable. Buying a big ticket item can be daunting.

Such as...? Seriously, you'll hear negative things about every vehicle out there.

In a word, no. Every car manufacturer lists MPG based on closed track optimal driving conditions, with professional drivers at the wheel. Results will vary due to many factors, not the least of which is your driving habits. My Rogue (in UK units) is averaging 30.4 MPG.

Also, now I hear that they are adding extra warranty to the CVT transmission because of problems.
I believe there were some CVT problems with the first two to three model years, but as far as I know these have been addressed and resolved on the current models. Besides, why would increasing the warranty be a negative? It's actually a positive selling point with many car lines. it shows the mfgr is willing to stand behind their product, rather than say sorry for your luck.

I really like the car I am not sure I am ready for the problems.
I think I'll just let that one slide.

What I haven’t found is anyone who has gotten close to 40 MPG on the HWY while driving conservatively.
That is my concern.
I've copied these posts into this thread to see if we can get more input from other members.

I can't speak for what Canadians are getting or expect MPG wise, but I do know stateside adverts for the Rogue say 22city 26hwy (AWD version). As i'm averaging 25.2mpg, I find it's close enough for government work.

- just caught that- LOL thats too funny!

and regarding to Vulnavia = dude this car is not impressive at all with MPG's. its either the retarded gas gauge that is screwing with the drivers, or its the awd thats sucking away fuel mileage upon accelerating. idk - but im NOT impressed.

but what i did notice is that fuel is disappearing a lot faster half way through the tank. the first 50% seem to last forever.

The gas gauge may not be accurate. All cars get better gas mileage with a full tank. If you refuel at half a tank instead of waiting until it is empty you will improve gas mileage numbers. Also cost less to fill of course.
