| Custom Magnaflow Dual Exhaust Install Today was the day. I went and took the Rogue in for its dual exhaust install. I have to say I'm surprised at how big the OEM muffler is compared to the Magnaflow. Here are the pictures that the shop owner took while the car was up on the lift. I just got the pictures of the install while it was up on the lift from the owner of the shop. | Magna Flow. . . I love the way your exhaust looks, and I suppose it sounds a bit different and maybe even improves your gas mileage ? What year is your Rogue ? Also I am curious if the exhaust facility cut out the rear side of the bumper guard to allow the right side exhaust pipe. How did you select Magna flow with so many competitors out there? are you happy with the results ? Great pictures thanks so much, I will consider doing the same to my 2009 SL AWD when I read your responses... Tony |

Thanks Tony. It definitely sounds a bit different. I've only had it a few days now, so I don't have too much to compare it to mileage wise. My Rogue is a 2011, but there really shouldn't be any difference in the exhaust system. The place that did the exhaust work is actually an all around custom car shop - they do body work, exhaust, 12 volt, turbos - you name it. So they did do the cut out for the right exhaust pipe. Shouldn't be too difficult for an exhaust shop to do it though. As for Magnaflow, I've had lots of past experience with their product, and always liked it. Of course, that was in V-8s and some V-6s, so its a bit different in the 4 cyl. But still sounds nice and deep when you go WOT. I haven't really gotten a chance to get a good sound clip, but here is some video from inside the car...Rogue with Magnaflow Muffler Visually, I'm thrilled with the results. I'm going to give the muffler some time and see how I feel about it. It does have a tendency to be a bit "buzzy" around 2000rpm, and that is a bit annoying in daily driver. I may throw some Dynamat or something similar in the back, under the spare tire and see if it quiets the inside down a bit. The sound outside is fantastic, but I'd prefer the inside to be a bit quieter. |
