I have an S awd 09 rogue with a cvt transmission. After around 3000 km my engine start to rumble (kinda shaking... I'm french so you'll have to forget my english ;-))and make a noise. After i speed up a little it would stop the rumble and the noise. I had also noticed in my drive way that my car was leaking. Went to the dealership, he told me he had to change the seals on my transmission. After he did it, all the troubles were gone. By the way, when checking my oil, the mechanic told me that my engine should always be on. Hope that helped!

I got my second oil changed and found out that my oil level is just above the E level of dip stick after travelling 600k, definitely thers's a problem on it and my dealership always deny that there's a engine problem...I need your opinions fellow roguers pleeeaaaseee

Had my first oil change at 2180 miles. Oil was dirty, and still a little low but shop said it wasn't out of wack. They suggested check it next 1000 miles or so and let them know if it drops. Think it was just the break in period, will keep and eye on it....

Bernabe, There isn't much to discuss here, you obviously have an engine problem and the ONLY solution is for the dealer to replace the entire engine under warranty. There is no reason for the dealer to fight you on this, because it's the Nissan manufacturer that pays the bill, not your service department. They actually make money on warranty work because they bill the labour time back to Nissan too, so it's win win for you and the dealer. This is not the time for any more discussion, normal engines don't use oil when they are new, and even when they're several years old they should NEVER use even close to as much oil as your Rogue is using. So the one and only course of action is to be persistent with your Nissan service department, which shouldn't take much effort because it is obvious your engine is complete crap. If for some reason they don't agree, all you have to do is put in a call to Nissan USA or Canada (not sure where you live), and they'll follow-up with the service deparment and make them take action. The oil consumption is documented, so the facts are plain as day and the course of action is very clear. Also, if you can visit or call a Nissan service department in a neighboring city I'd highly recommend that, chances are they'd compete for the chance to perform the warranty work because as I said, they make money on the labour.

| Today I had the TCM/ECM programming as well as the steering recall and the oil comsumption check at 1000 miles at the dealer. According the the service manager, there was no oil consumption!!! So maybe when the change the oil prior to this time (I get all the oil changes at the dealer), they did not fill it all the way to F. Next times I will check it myself after the oil changes. Ed
