From my own experience, most fuel gauges seem to be really "off" once they get down to the 1/4 mark. Staying above 1/2 a tank gives somewhat better results.

| Well, I understand how they work, but I have owned a lot of vehicles in my life and this is the least accurate. When I fill it and it gauge goes up, it does not move until I have driven almost 200 miles. Then the last quarter tank goes fast as it does in most cars. It is not a big deal. I am used to it now. It is just not real accurate so I cannot see how the mpg computer can be any better. Not a big deal. |
