Question Murano muffler on our Rogue??

Here is something to ponder....

I love the look and sound of dual exhausts...the
Murano which has dual exhausts has its dual outlet
muffler mounted in the same place as the Rogues
single outlet muffler.....

It doesn't look like it would be a difficult mod to
use the Murano muffler to put dual exhausts on
our Rogues???

Just a thought, but I will be checking in to it???

Gib

exhaust mod..

ha...ha...ha...you guys are so funny.....didn't I tell you I was
sick!....but, I haven't done anything "yet".....

I had an 05 Scion xb that I went nuts on with the modding...one
of the things of many that I did was put a Borla dual exhaust
on it..looked great, sounded sweet!

(Even tho I still believe that this would be a fairly
easy mod.....)
I've decided that unless a quality, aftermarket
supplier, (re: Borla), comes out with a complete,
custom fit, bolt-on, cat-back system specifically
for out Rogues, I will pass on this mod.

I believe since the frame and engine of the Rogue is used on other Nissan's there shouldn't be a real long wait for a cat back system but then again for Gib it won't really matter because he's done with his Rogue.........................LOL, Modding really is a sickness shared by most forum dwellers present company included.

Follow up on this

If you really want it bad enough, try following up on the European Nissan brother, the Qashqai. There is an accessorie kit from Cobra in Germany that gives it dual exhaust.

Thanks for the link...the duals look awesome, but...
the one thing that gives pause is that according to
that site, the largest motor that you can get in
the Qashqai is a 2.0l....our Rogues being a 2.5l.

This makes me question whether or not the
exhaust pipe diameter and flanges would be the
same size as our stock Rogues? I'd sure hate to go
thru the cost of the system plus shipping from
overseas only to get it and find that its not
compatible.

So, thanks, but I think I will wait to get one thats
specifically made for out Rogues, if one is ever
produced??

I'll be able to tell you the answer to your $100,000 question because I've sent off emails to Borla, Zoomers and a few other manufacturers.
