| Rogue SV - iPod and USB music Hi everyone, First post and new to the group! I just got my new 2011 Rogue SV and love this car! The only issue I'm having is the ipod/blackberry and playing music through my stereo...it's the 'player type B' stereo system. I connected the ipod nano (v1.1.3) as well as a Blackberry Bold via the USB port, and select AUX on the stereo...but nada (settings for AUX vol was set to Medium). My girlfriend then used a different cable for the ipod that had the AUX cable (so connecting the USB and AUX ports) and sound played through the system, but nothing was controlled through the stereo/steering wheel controls. For the Blackberry, the music files in the music folders aren't read at all and nothing plays. In general the stereo sounds like the antenna is super weak. Even when playing a CD it just sounds muffled altogether...like someone has something over the speakers and it's just not bright. Any help would be appreciated! |

| yeah i've played with the settings but still not the best. does help a bit though. similarly radio stations that work on my other car have that 'almost out of tune/distorted' sound on the nissan. the antenna is on there tight as well (took it off and put it back on). Regarding USB playback...The manual says when you go to the AUX mode, you have to select USB mode or iPOD mode. I assume you get to these by hitting AUX on the stereo head (kinda like you have to in order to scroll thru FM1, FM2). However, I keep hitting AUX and it just says AUX on the display and never recognizes a USB drive. Anyone know how the stereo is supposed to recognize the USB device if connected??? thanks! |

| Yeah the radio station in my Rogue is not as clear either. But then again I usually just listen to 1010 WINNS. But the CD's and IPOD sound excellent. Really clear and I have just the stock radio that came in the S series. Maybe you should check with the dealer, its probably something very minor that you over looked. ![]()
