Just wanted to report that the Nissan iPod interface for the 2008 Altima definitely works with the Bose sound system in the Rogue. If you have satellite radio you'll need the following part numbers:
999U7-ST002 iPod interface
999U7-VT000 iPod harness I (required for all installs)
999U7-VT001 iPod harness J (required for satellite radio)
It's a fairly pricey solution. I got it all from Lee Auto and paid about $240 shipped. It seems that Peripheral Electronics (
Peripheral Electronics) now has an iPod interface that will also work with the Rogue's factory radio.
I can't provide install instructions and the ones that come with the parts are fairly useless. The plugs and jacks pretty much fit one way though and with some careful reasoning (plugs that go went into the radio should go into the interface, interface plugs into the radio, satellite plug plugs into the satellite harness) you can get it all connected. It's a bit awkward to use but not a big deal once you get the hang of the radio controls.
