Direct connect/control ipod to radio

I am thinking about getting a rogue. One of my wants for my next car is the ability to connect my ipod and control it from the radio and steering wheel controls.

I see that the rogue has a 3.5 aux connector but not an Ipod dock connector.

I am wondering if anyone has found a way to get the ipod on direct connection. The audio store I called told me that they had one unit that could do minimal Ipod control. So far that is the best I have found.

Thumbs up

I'm using this Kengsington LiquidAUX and love it! It's perfect for my iPhone 3G.

There's also this model if you are looking to pair a separate bluetooth phone in, along with a regular iPod. If you have factory steering wheel controls, though, I'm thinking you already have bluetooth in your factory head unit.

Companies like USA Spec make iPod interfaces for factory radios but I haven't found one yet that seems to work with the Rogue.
