| For that, you will have to remove some plastic interiors: - The power outlet is below the plastic cover on the left side of the cargo area (left of the spare tyre, where the material to lift the car is). Three 10 mm bolts to remove it. - Left light connector: Remove the low left interior plastic lining (the black one below the beige one). For that, you will have to remove the black plastic on the threshold of the cargo door (remove the small plastic below the hook of the door first): Remove two platic screws on the inside and pull hard (six white sapin holders). Then you can pull the left interior plastic and bend it to get access to the connector (above the ground stud). - Right connector: Same as the left. Since the threshold plastic is already remove, just pull the low black plastic lining. If you did not buy yet a trailer wiring converter, look at this one, Professional Wiring Products, it is half the price of the Nissan one, looks better, and is also plug and play. Take about 45 minutes to install it. Hope this help. |

| Thanks for the information! Wish I would have post BEFORE...... I purchased the Nissan Kit. $160. P#999T8-GU000 My Nissan kit arrived yesterday. But for those wondering the package contains a 30 page installation instruction book that is MUCH more detailed. Both seem to have the basic same install. I notice the cost for PWP product was $48. For those ......... once you purchase an electrical item from Nissan it can not be returned "so the invoice reads" regardless! |
