So far, several months ago, I applied 3M Clear-Bra
strips to all of my door sills...seems to be working
fine...
I read what you did....sounded good. I looked at
my door seal to see where you added the weather
striping.....in the place where you put it, (inside the
door weatherseal), I already have a half-inch strip
of foam that pushes that seal out towards the sill.
So, not sure if that would do anything for me....
thats if I'm understanding what you did?? (If it
didn't stop the dirt before, don't think it would
now?) I think that we need to somehow seal it
all the way down front to back...probably by the
use of a full length weather seal??
Anyway, people need to do something, either
what I did or what you did, or something...gotta
stop the scratches....good luck!
