I know that synthetic oil lasts longer and you can almost double your mileage before changing it.

But is it the same for the other components you change during an oil change? Is the oil filter lasts as twice as long when you use synthetic oil? Do you use a specific oil filter?

Is it interesting, other than environementaly speaking, to switch to synthetic oil?

As you can see, I am a beginner in this area.
