I am a moderator on the NICO Nissan Rogue forum, I have experienced this extreme wind noise issue for two years (I have an 08 FWD SL Rogue), and I have a solution - the application of strategically placed weather stripping or in my case foam tape will solve this problem. The source is the door seams in a very specific location, even though it does sound like it is coming from the roof rack area. Send me an email and I will email you specific photos of how to fix this yourself, it should take you about 10 to 20 minutes of labour and maybe $5 in supplies and you'll be rid of this problem forever.
