| No point of warranty This is Muhammad Hanif Resident of Regina Saskatchewan , bought(financed) a brand new vehicle 2008 Rogue worth of 40,000 CAD in September
2008, just about one year of purchase had grumbling noise from the (CVT)transmission, took to the dealership (Dilawri Nissan Regina) they
said the transmission will have to be replaced and it was replaced and they extended warranty for 10 years or 200,000 KM for CVT transmission
now after six months of the installation of new CVT the problem came back and then I took to nissan service very next to dilawri nissan
dealer and then master technician said he has nissan rogue 2009 with same problem and he told me the can't fix it and change of CVT didn't
even fix the problem they had to re program where the condition which was causing the noise is avoided i.e. the speed of the vehicle so I
came back frustrated but now the noise is getting worse did same thing took to nissan service they said they have to talk to nissan
centralized technician services what they are doing about it. but I am frustrated with the vehicle that I don't want to keep it any more , I
am paying installments with very tight financial situation and currently I am basically in debt cause of it and still what I get at the end
is a "PIECE OF CRAP" anyways so I told them to take it back and I will still buy nissan but not rogue obviously given that my all
installments that I already paid will be adjusted towards new vehicle but they said they can't I talked to store/dealer manager he said he
can't help me and he was trying to convince me for extended warranty I told him listen why would I buy a new car if I have a noise and that
noise is there they don't what is it
they can't fix it in 2008 and 2009 I know for sure it will still be in 2010 cause it's too early to say about 2010 and since they never fixed
it in previous models so anyways I just talked to nissan canada customer care and they simply said "no" they can't buy back and they will
only fix it until the warranty.
Please Help or guide me through what should I do or who should I contact. by the way my next door neighbour and I bought the car at the same
time they had CVT replaced closed to when mine was done, but it didn't come back for them as of yet.
my point of having a new car is gone no matter how many years of warranty is given the trust is gone and I wouldn't recommend any one to buy any thing from nissan. |
