From what I read, it handles very well in snow... with winter tires.

On their first year, you could keep the all season tires but you will have to remember that they will be not as good as appropriate tires.

I live in an urban environment and we are obliged by law to get winter tires here in Quebec, and I never had any problem.
All the electronic in the car works well to be safe in snow conditions.
