I went with Plastic since it's lighter. The rear hatch shocks have been replaced. The hatch was going up real slow (under Warranty). This happened before I installed the spoiler and figured light might be better. Plus this brand used Dupont Car Paint and seemed like good quality at about 1/3 the dealers price for the glass version. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.
