We are going to the Outer Banks in September for a wedding. The house that has been rented for the family is north of Corolla in the "4 x 4" only area. There are different items that I have read concerning this area and one says that AWD with enough ground clearance will be fine while another site says that AWD is not recommended. Does anyone have any experience with driving the Outer Banks with your Rogue? The house is just two miles from the end of the paved road and I don't plan on going beyond that to the remote beaches with all of the dunes.
