Leather is soooo overated as car seat cover material. It's cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I've had everything from Connally(sp?)in Jaguars to VW Cabrio leather and they all wear and crease as they want. After all, the hides are(were) a living breathing material. About all we as owners can do is clean and condition them once or twice a year. We've had the SL about a year now and I'm watching helplessly as the creases and wrinkles set themselves. Alacantara is the way to go.
