I never understood what Nissan means by pre-wired Rogue as it seems everybody has the same thing: You will have to buy a trailer light converter.

You have the one from Nissan or different aftermarket ones like the Drawtite model #119175 or the T-Connector Wiring Kit #64150 from Professional Wiring Products.

To get it powered, you will have connect it to the splice which is in the cargo area, under the plastic tray which hold the tools to remove a flat tire (driver side). To access it you will have to remove some other panels but that is ok as you will have to remove these panels to access the lights connectors anyway:

Depending of your model, remove the cargo organizer and detach the panel hiding the spare tire (two nylon bands close to the back seats).

I think you will able to detach the low part of the side plastic finishing in the cargo as the panel you want to remove is attach to it (and you will need to detach it anyway to get access to the driver side tail light connector).

You may have to remove the plastic panel on the cargo threshold as well but I am not sure (To do that, remove the small plastic part under the hook for the lock, remove the weather strip and pull the plastic panel hold by six white "plastic tree").

Then you have the two 10mm bolts to unscrew and you will be able to remove the panel.

It is from memory as I did it few months ago. Hope this helps.
