Hi Roguer2008,

First, do you fill the tank completely? Most people stops the fill at the first clic, but from what I tried, you can fill another gallon after the first clic.

What I do: The first part of the fill, I fill it up at max speed, but at about half tank, two third I slow the fill up to one third / half speed. It takes more time (but not that much) but the fuel has more time to fill the tank so the clic stop is delayed. When the clic stop occurs, I look at the pump to see how much more I should be able to put in (about a gallon).

Hint: A good point to know that you almost fill the tank is that at about one liter to spill out, you will heard the tank "gurgles" as it releases some air through the filling port. From there, go to the next dollar, you are sure that the tank is full (the gauge should stay full for at least 100 kms before losing its first notch).

If after checking that you still have the gauge problem, go to your dealer, there is a TSB about the Rogue fuel gauge to solve the misreading.

I will try to find the reference and post it.
