Of course I'm not a Nissan engineer or expert on what is causing the issue, but stating that "replacing the tranny won't help because the noise will just return" does not make sense to me. If this was the case, then this problem should be affecting ALL Rogues, but I don't believe this is the case. It seems that only a small number of Rogues have this problem, which leads me to believe it is a component quality control or assembly problem with some specific tranny's, and that being the case, replacing the defective tranny should solve the problem. If it is a problem with the design of the tranny like you state, then this is a huge problem because all Rogues would be affected. Mine is at the shop getting checked for the noise today, I'll let you know what they tell me. |
